Mural unveiled in honour of black Frenchman who died in police custody

Description

A fresco by the artist JR in tribute to Adama Traoré, who died in police custody in 2016, is unveiled on a school wall in the rue Louis Blanc in Paris, a few minutes before a press conference of the Adama committee. The fresco also pays homage to George Floyd, the African-American killed in Minneapolis by a white policeman. On the fresco, one eye of Floyd's is shown next to Adama's eye. IMAGES
