Havana, Jun 8 (EFE), (Camera: Felipe Borrego).- A group of Cuban doctors who spent more than two months in the fight against COVID-19 in Lombardy (Italy), returned home on Monday.FOOTAGE OF THE WELCOME EVENT IN HAVANA. There was a huge number of deaths, ambulances were constantly passing and the streets were desolated."DR. LEONARDO FERNÁNDEZ:"Regarding health checks and protection, measures have been stricter than in ebola outbreaks. The medical mission was part of our job and our responsibility as health workers, Cubans and internationalists."DR. CARLOS CARRILLA:"We knew how to do it. We did it and saved lives."
