Veracruz, Feb 21 (EFE).- Six members of Mexico's military died on Sunday morning after an Air Force plane burst into flame after it crashed near an airport in the southeastern state of Veracruz. The military will carry out an investigation, the country's Defense Ministry said. (Camera: OMAR HERNANDEZ). Texas police stated that three people have died after two small aircraft collided in the air over the city of McKinney on Saturday. The two aircraft, a Piper PA-28R and a Luscombe, crashed into each other near the Aero County Airport. One plane went down near a storage facility while the crashed on a busy road near a commercial district of the city. The Aero County airport is a small regional airport that does not have air traffic control - pilots are required to announce landings and takeoffs via radio. Police and fire services cleared Custer Road from Virginia to Bedford as they worked on the scene of the crash. An investigation into the exact circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
A Jet Airways plane with 161 people on board veered off the runway during take-off at Goa's Dabolim airport, Tuesday. The passengers, including 7 crew members, were evacuated using emergency slides. 15 people were treated for minor injuries incurred during the evacuation. The flight 9W 2374 had landed from Mumbai and was bound for Dubai airport when the incident occured. The cause of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
