Colombo, Sep 29 (EFE/EPA).-The Sri Lankan government’s Cabinet Tuesday approved a proposal to ban cattle slaughter in the predominantly Buddhist island nation. Announcing this decision, Cabinet spokesman and Minister for Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella said that legalising the decision would be done in due course.
