Several hundred pro-government supporters gather close to Komarovsky Market in Minsk chanting "Belarus without Tilhanovskaya" and 'Za Batku' (EN: "For Daddy") in support of President Alexander Lukashenko. The demonstration takes place during the seventeenth consecutive opposition rally on Independence Square. Demonstrators have daily flooded the streets of the former Soviet country demanding the resignation of authoritarian leader Lukashenko since he claimed a sixth term in disputed elections on August 9.
