A creative collective from Moscow calling themselves the Sunrise Expedition have been making waves on Russian social media for one of the most ambitious adventures ever undertaken by a musical group. These traveling musicians, illustrators, and tattoo artists have traveled tens of thousands of miles all over Europe and Asia on Soviet-made Volga cars in order to perform concerts wherever the wind takes them. They drove out from Moscow in fall of 2016, traveled across Asia to Bali, Indonesia by car, and arrived back in Moscow in early 2017, becoming the first musicians to perform in Tibet in the process. The Sunrise Expedition have embarked on a new journey called "To the Atlantic," with the aim of driving all the way out to the famous surf city of Nazare, Portugal. Ruptly caught up with the adventurers in Berlin.
The world's first tour bus specifically geared towards hosting dog owners and their dogs hit the streets of London on Tuesday. The tour, which was organised by the More Than Dog insurance company, includes stop-offs for walks and meals at canine-friendly restaurants. The tour bus, called the K9, begins and ends at Milbank in central London, and is running three times a day for four days, ending on January 19.
