Honduran military distributes food to 800,000 poor families

Tegucigalpa (Honduras), 25 Mar, EFE, (Camera: Uriel Gudiel).- The Honduran government began delivering 800,000 food rations on Wednesday in a house-to-house campaign to help 3.2 million poor people affected by the quarantine measures set up to try and stop the spread coronavirus, which has 36 positive cases. The food delivery began in Tegucigalpa, the country's capital, and is being carried out by the military and elements of the Honduran National Police, with support from churches and members of civil society.
