Images of the Greek appeals court in Athens as the court hands a 13-year prison sentence to the leader of neo-Nazi group Golden Dawn for running a criminal organisation. As well as Nikos Michaloliakos, the party's founder -- who received an additional one year for illegal possession of a weapon -- the court has also sentenced five former members of his inner circle to prison terms. Russian director Yevgeniya Berkovich and writer Svetlana Petriychuk appear in a Russian military court, where they were sentenced to six years in prison for "justifying terrorism" in a 2021 play about women marrying jihadists in Syria. Dozens of people protest outside the London High Court where a hearing for Julian Assange's final UK appeal against extradition to the United States is set to begin. The 52-year-old WikiLeaks founder is facing trial in the United States for publishing secret military and diplomatic files.
