Box Office Projections Released for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Description

According to projections, 'Avengers: Infinity War' is expected to take in $498 million worldwide when it begins its global release in theatres. Domestic tracking has the film, which opens Thursday night, pegged for an opening weekend of up to $235 million in the US alone. This would give 'Infinity War' the second-highest opening weekend of all time ahead of 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'. Some analysts foresee the film opening to $275 million, which would brake the all-time opening weekend box office record of $247.9 million, currently held by 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
