Trump Proposes $15 Billion Spending Cuts

Description

President Donald Trump will request a package of $15 billion in spending cuts from Congress on Tuesday. This includes $7 billion from the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which is championed by Democrats. The proposal comes as Trump and Republicans in congress are moving away from a threat to pick a new budget fight with Democrats.
