Stan Lee Backs Up Elon Musk On "Fake News" Accountability

Elon Musk's criticism of the media and so-called "fake news" has gained a new, prehaps unlikely supporter: legendary comic creator Stan Lee. Lee to Twitter to show his agreement with the Tesla CEO.He said that the media needs to be held accountable, especially the Hollywood Reporter Last month, The Hollywood Reporter published a report alleging that Lee is a victim of elder abuse at the hands of those closest to him. The story included dark and disturbing accounts that Keya Morgan, Lee's daughter J.C., and two other men, have worked together to not only control Lee's finances, but access to the former Marvel editor as well. Many fans responded favorably to Lee's post supporting Musk. But many others felt it raised questions about who is really behind the account. The wonder is Lee is acutally writing for himself.

  • Tesla Recalls 30,000 Cars

    Tesla’s issues with faulty production and inconsistent quality extend outside the U.S. market: As first reported by Bloomberg, the automaker is set to recall close to 30,000 of its imported Model S and Model X cars from China, citing problems surrounding the vehicle’s suspension systems. Per a statement from China’s State Administration for Market Regulation—a relatively new and broadly empowered agency with functions similar to the SEC, CFTC, FDA, and USPTO in the United States—Tesla’s Beijing branch issued recalls for 29,193 Model X or Model S cars made between September 17th, 2013 and January 15th, 2018. The vehicles built during that roughly four-and-a-half year window may have rolled off the factory line with major suspension defects.

    Europe's first Hyperloop facility was unveiled in Delft on Thursday and aims to cut down the commute between European capitals to a matter of minutes. Hyperloop creators teamed up with Dutch organisation Hardt, the Technical University of Delft, and construction company BAM for the project. The consortium hope that Hyperloop will soon shoot passengers at breakneck speeds in driverless pods through low-pressure tubes throughout the continent.   • Dutch Team Wins Elon Musk's SpaceX Hyperloop Competition

    Sunday was a momentous day for entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk's proposed Hyperloop transportation system. A team from the Delft University of Technology took home the first prize in a world-wide competition set up by SpaceX founder Musk to design and build a Hyperloop pod. They came out on top of two other teams during a test run of their pod in Los Angeles on Sunday. The Delft team was one of three to proceed to the final stage of the competition, with a team from the Technical University of Munich winning the award for the fastest Hyperloop pod and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology coming third overall. The SpaceX Hyperloop competition began in 2015, but this year was the first time participants in the final were able to test their Hyperloop pod on a mile-long track. Hyperloop is billed as the next generation of ultra-fast transportation. Transport pods will shoot through a closed vacuum tube at speeds of over 700 miles per hour.
