German town opens Christian-Muslim kindergarten

Description

The first German wide interreligious Christian-Muslim kindergarten 'Abraham’s children' was inaugurated Thursday in Gifhorn, a small town in Lower Saxony. The idea came up in 2016 amid the refugee crisis and integration debate in Germany, when members of the Christian community asked the Muslim community for help.
