Michael B. Jordan Sings On To Lead A New Animated Series

Michael B. Jordan has signed on to voice the lead character of the upcoming Rooster Teeth series “gen:LOCK.” The animated series takes place as Earth’s last free society, on the losing side of a global war, recruits a diverse team of young pilots to control the next generation of mecha — giant, weaponized robot bodies. Jordan will voice Julian Chase, who leaves his life as a fighter pilot behind to become the first candidate for the program and finds his endurance — as well as his very identity — will be tested beyond anything he ever imagined. Laverne & Shirley's 'Squiggy,' David Lander, Dead At 73

Actor David Lander has died at the age of 73. Lander was best known for his role as Squiggy on the sitcom 'Laverne & Shirley,' opposite Michael McKean, who played his roommate, Lenny. CNN reports Lander died on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after fighting multiple sclerosis for decades. Lander kept his illness a secret until 1999 with the release of his memoir, 'Fall Down Laughing: How Squiggy Caught Multiple Sclerosis and Didn't Tell Nobody.' My doctor painted a fairly bleak picture of the disease, even going so far as to tell me I probably wouldn't walk again. Whatever happens, MS can't take it all. What Is 'The Godfather, Coda'

Thirty years ago Francis Ford Coppola released "The Godfather: Part III." It was one of the most anticipated sequels of all time. The film was a tremendous bomb, critically. Now, Francis Ford Coppola has re-edited the movie. The film also has a new title, "The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone." What's different? CNN reports that Coppola has tinkered with the beginning and end, rearranging and editing some scenes. He has also trimmed 13 minutes from the movie, which still runs a characteristically epic two hours and 37 minutes.
