Abarth 124 Rally wins in Spain thrills on the race track for the french weekend in Le Castellet

Description

The Abarth racing weekend started with an assertive win in the two-wheel ranking and an excellent ninth overall place in the Rallye Villa de Adeje in Tenerife (SPA) of the SMC Junior Motorsport team Abarth 124 rally driven by Spaniards Alberto Monarri and Rodrigo Sanjuán. The narrow roads of the Atlantic island exalted the features of the Abarth 124 rally allowing the Spanish team to secure a clear win in the Two-Wheel Drive and R-GT categories in this round of the Spanish Tarmac Championship. With this result, Alberto Monarri (SPA) is now leading the general ranking in the Spanish Two-Wheel Drive Trophy. The Abarth 124 rally dominated the race and took the lead from the first test stage. By modifying its set-up, the driver made the car even more efficient and increased his lead, winning nearly all the timed trials.
