The leader and several followers of a group of armed protesters who occupied a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon were arrested during a traffic stop that turned deadly Tuesday.

The United Nations Security Council demands an immediate end to attacks by Yemen's Huthi rebels on shipping in the Red Sea. The resolution passed "demands that the Huthis immediately cease all such attacks, which impede global commerce and undermine navigational rights and freedoms as well as regional peace and security." The United States urges Cuba to end internet restrictions imposed after unprecedented protests and renews a call for the release of detained demonstrators.
