A deadly terrorist attack at several luxury hotels in the Ivory Coast on Sunday sent beachgoers scrambling for their lives.
Newly-released security videos show the moment Islamist militants claiming to be from Al Qaeda's north African wing fired on beachgoers in the Ivorian resort of Grand-Bassam, killing 18 people. Mana Rabiee reports.
The verdict hearing for four of the defendants begins in the trial over one of West Africa's bloodiest jihadist attacks -- a 2016 machine-gun assault on the Ivorian beach resort of Grand-Bassam that killed 19. The verdict is expected on Thursday. IMAGES
Villagers flee their homes with their belongings a day after gunmen killed 16 people in their village of Tiortyui, some 30 kilometres away from Makurdi, in Nigeria's central Benue state.
