Sony is planning to increase its PlayStation Virtual Reality gaming catalogue by 80 per cent by releasing an additional 130 in 2018.

The concept comes from anime game 'Niitzuma LovelyxCation', where players are able to find a girlfriend and develop a relationship in virtual reality. Hibiki Works created a way to give fans an ability to express their love in the real world, tying together a human with a virtual lover through a real world wedding ceremony with the help of VR glasses.

Sony Computer Entertainment in a recent press release announced that as of April 1st, a new company called ForwardWorks Corporation is being established by Sony in order to produce games for mobile devices. Sony isn’t new to the world of mobile gaming having previously used its PlayStation brand to produce and promote games on smartphones.
Sony is reportedly planning on upgrading the PS4. The “PS4.5,” as it is unofficially being called, is said to have a more powerful GPU to support 4K resolution for games and to add more processing power to enhance titles that support the PlayStation VR. Overall, having a stronger GPU would allow for all games on PS4 to have added graphical effects and upgrades.
