J.K. Rowling Explains the History of Magic in North America in a New Series

As announced yesterday, J.K. Rowling is revealing The History of Magic in North America, a series of four short pieces written the creator of Harry Potter for Pottermore, setting the stage for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film. The first of these pieces, “Fourteenth Century – Seventeenth Century,” is now live on the Pottermore website. Rowling has also revealed the titles and synopses for the remaining three piece (via EW): Seventeenth Century and Beyond Debuting March 9 at 9 a.m.

It will begin to be built this year in the US and Canada, followed by other regions around the globe.
