Porn "public health hazard" Utah Governor

On Tuesday, Utah Governor Gary Herbert has signed a bill and a resolution declaring pornography to be a public health hazard in the state. Porn is not banned in Utah, it just means the government disproves of it. Utah State Senator, Todd Weiler, stated that pornography is addictive and has the ability to ruin marriages and relationships. Critics of the bill believe that the bill stigmatizes sexual acts between consenting adults. Citing that instead of this bill, Utah might want to change its sex education classes which are still abstinence based. Abstinence based sex-ed, has been proven to be largely ineffective. With many states providing only or largely abstinence based education having higher rates of teen pregnancy than those that don't.
