It offers mobile carwash services to its clients at the comfort of their homes or work places through a mobile app that clients use to request for the services, which has offered safe space for women who normally fear taking their cars to the carwash and also helped in the fight against COVID-19 by bringing the services to the clients homes, thus saving them the time and risks when going to the conventional carwash joints that are usually crowded to get the same services. According to the founders of the company, also the use of online app and their electric tuk tuk has helped in reducing the carbon footprints and reducing noise pollution thus offering clean and safe environment when serving their clients. On Friday, the US House of Representatives passed a bill to end the federal prohibition on cannabis. CNN reports the historic vote on the landmark legislation is largely symbolic. If put into law it would be a major step for the multibillion-dollar cannabis industry and broader social justice movements The bill would effectively legalize cannabis by removing marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act. It would creating a shared federal-state control of cannabis programs, but it does not force states to legalize.
In the United States, it's generally understood that college kids like to party. And according to UPI, a new study in JAMA Pediatrics says nearly a third of all college students smoke cannabis. 62%--roughly twice as many--drink alcohol. However, the number of students who say they neither drink alcohol nor smoke weed has increased from just under 20% in the early 2000s to 28% today. What's more, the percentage of students who have an alcohol use disorder also has declined to 10% over the same period from just under 20%.
