Women Strut The 2019 Oscars Red Carpet In Pant Suits


In the past women were expected to wear big designer dresses for the red carpet but that is no longer the case. In the Oscars 2019 red carpet there were women fighting against this standard and wearing pantsuits. Some stars who wore suits were Awkwafina from “Crazy Rich Asians” who wore a glittery purple power suit. According to the Huffington Post, others, such as Amy Poehler went with a classic all-black pantsuit. A Twitter user said they loved celebrities “throwing gender norms out the window on this red carpet.”
