Women's rights campaigner Narges Mohammadi's Nobel peace prize win pays tribute to the courage of Iranian women in the face of reprisals and harrassment, the United Nations says. The award "really highlights the courage and determination of the women of Iran and how they are an inspiration to the world", UN human rights office spokeswoman Elizabeth Throssell tells reporters. Head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen, says they "hope" Iran would release jailed Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi so she could attend the prize ceremony in December. "If the Iranian authorities make the right decision, they will release her," she tells a press conference after announcing Mohammadi was this year's prize winner. SOUNDBITE
