Golden Globes Lost 410,000 Viewers Compared To Last Year

According to The Wrap, the 2019 Golden Globes lost 410,000 total viewers from last year but did 4% better in the key 18-49 demographic. The NBC broadcast finished the night with 18.6 million total viewers, which was down about 2 percent from last year’s total. It marks the highest-rated entertainment telecast since ABC’s blockbuster debut of its “Roseanne” revival last spring. It's also the only major awards show in the last year not to see a year-over-year decline.
