The mother of slain journalist James Foley, Diane Foley, says the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation welcomes the life sentence for El Shafee Elsheikh after the member of the notorious Islamic State kidnap-and-murder cell known as the "Beatles" was sentenced to life in prison by a US court for the deaths of four American hostages in Syria.
