Its alluring bodywork reflects the supreme dynamics and exclusive comfort that shape the luxury sedan's unmistakable driving experience. The latest edition of the 7-Series features neatly judged exterior flourishes, which underline its status and advanced technology even more intently. The design updates reach every area of the body and strengthen, above all, the confident presence with which the new BMW 7-Series sedan advertises its position as the brand's flagship model. The far-reaching exterior redesign accentuates the cultured elegance of the BMW 7-Series and takes in the front apron, bonnet, headlights, front side panels, rear bumper trim and rear lights.The BMW 7-Series will continue to be offered in two body variants. The longer version of the luxury sedan has a wheelbase extended by 14 centimetres over the standard car - to 3,210 millimetres - and gives rear-seat passengers the extra space to match. The standard 7-Series (5,120 mm) and its long-wheelbase twin (5,260 mm) are both 22 millimetres longer than their respective predecessors. The new model's width (1,902 mm) and height (1,467 mm / long-wheelbase version: 1,479 mm) remain unchanged.

This new edition of the five-door 3-Series - beloved of customers in Europe in particular - brings a compelling and seamless blend of driving pleasure and functional appeal to the premium midsize class. Latestgeneration engines and new chassis technology provide a noticeable increase in sporting prowess, while intelligent equipment features optimise versatility both in everyday use and on trips away. The advances made in these core disciplines join with the BMW 3-Series Touring's dynamic take on the new BMW design language, the extensively refined premium ambience of its interior and the latest innovations in control/operation and connectivity to define the character of the new car.The progressive nature of the latest BMW 3-Series Touring builds on historical precedent. Indeed, the concept behind the new car has its roots in the company's erstwhile quest to bring the pleasure of sporty driving espoused by the BMW 3-Series to new customers - by means of an additional body variant. The original BMW 3-Series Touring presented in 1987 fulfilled this brief in spectacular style, its extended roofline, large tailgate and resultant increase in interior space adding significantly greater functionality to the agile handling familiar from its sedan sibling. BMW now had a new breed of car on its hands, the BMW 3-Series Touring blazing a trail for versatile yet handsome five-door models in the premium midsize class and continuing to set the benchmark for sporty driving characteristics (in what soon became a hotly contested market segment) to the present day. More than 1.7 million examples of the 3-Series Touring have since hit the roads, with the new car's immediate predecessor alone accounting for over 500,000 of these.
The new BMW 3 series plug-in hybrid joins the ranks, promising a proper combination of efficiency and performance in the sports sedan segment. The core of the 3 series plug-in hybrid is obviously its powertrain. BMW’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder generates 184 horsepower (135 kW), with a single electric motor nestled in the eight-speed automatic transmission providing an extra 113 hp (83 kW). Combined, BMW lists total output at 252 hp (185 kW), but this new hybrid has an interesting feature called XtraBoost that works not unlike a shot of nitrous oxide. With the new BMW 3 series in Sport mode, mashing the accelerator adds an additional 40 hp (30kW) for a period of up to 10 seconds, giving the sedan a total output of 292 hp (215 kW)

The now standard 10.25-inch or optional 12.3-inch Control Display, newly designed controls on the centre console and the standard sports leather steering wheel with newly arranged multifunction buttons headline an interior brimming with detail refinements. Standard equipment for the new BMW 5 Series Sedan and new BMW 5 Series Touring now also includes automatic climate control with extended features.New additions to the options list include M multifunction seats with a wide range of adjustment, new interior trim strips and seat surfaces in Sensatec perforated trim.

The new BMW 5 Series Sedan now offers the entire range of electrified drive technology. Just a few weeks after the market launch of the all-electric BMW i5 and the combustion engine variants equipped exclusively with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, two plug-in hybrid models will already be launched in November 2023. The BMW 530e Sedan and BMW 550e xDrive Sedan are available in Germany at the recommended retail price of 65,300 euros (incl. VAT) for the new BMW 530e Sedan and 77,300 euros (incl. VAT) for the new BMW 550e xDrive Sedan.In the eighth generation of the world's most successful business sedan, the plug-in hybrid models are characterised by extremely spontaneous power delivery, clearly increased efficiency and a significantly increased electric range. Both models feature the latest BMW eDrive technology for plug-in hybrid systems, which is combined in the BMW 530e Sedan with a four-cylinder petrol engine and in the BMW 550e xDrive Sedan with an in-line six-cylinder petrol engine from the BMW Group's latest Efficient Dynamics modular generation.

Like all previous model generations, the new BMW 5 Series Sedan is produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, where the electric motors and high-voltage batteries for the BMW i5 are also manufactured.
