SEAT participated at the COTEC Foundation’s two-day #Imperdible_03: Cities and Innovation event, aimed at encouraging the public to experience firsthand how innovation will change cities and how to build environments that are friendlier and more liveable.Through the SEAT Autonomous Driving Challenge, students from all over Spain with technical training in robotics participated in the final stage of this competition to develop fully autonomous control functions. This is the second edition of this project to boost young talent, which is organised by SEAT and CARNET, Barcelona’s first urban mobility research centre founded by SEAT, Volkswagen Group Research and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC)
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will hold Nissan Futures, an event showcasing how Nissan is shaping the future of sustainable mobility and innovative design, at its Global Headquarters Gallery in Japan from Feb. 4 to Mar. 1.As part of the event launch, Nissan unveiled a physical concept model of its Max-Out EV convertible. The model was previously shown in virtual form as part of the Nissan Ambition 2030 vision announced in November 2021 under the Nissan Futures banner. The Max-Out—which will be on display for the duration of the event—embodies Nissan’s ambition to support greater access to both sustainable and innovative mobility.Nissan Futures will feature interactive customer events, panel discussions with experts, and various displays, all aimed to exhibit its innovations in electrification, vehicle intelligence, power management, vehicle battery reuse, and more. The events and panel discussions will also be available to attend virtually.Event display and content information is available on the Nissan global corporate website and will be showcased on its YouTube and LinkedIn channels. Entry to the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery and participation in the planned events (physically or virtually) will be free of charge.
SEAT consolidated its commitment to urban mobility and its contribution to designing the most sustainable cities of the future with the creation of SEAT MÓ in 2020. With this new business unit, the brand aims to respond to the new mobility needs of cities, with 100% electric, noise-free, accessible and affordable products and services. It also offers mobility solutions for young people, with new proposals designed exclusively for them.SEAT MÓ started the year with a new flexible subscription model for the new electric motorbike, the SEAT MÓ eScooter 125, for 70 euros a week or 150 euros a month. The subscription includes full comprehensive insurance from the age of 18, roadside assistance, 24-hour customer service and the possibility of using the vehicle for the whole family for the same weekly or monthly fee.
The SEAT 600 has played a key role in the development of Spain. Thanks to this car, large cities were able to expand because people could commute from the surrounding to the city centre. Second homes also became widespread because it allowed Spanish families from that time to travel from to their usual homes to their second houses, where they could rest during weekends and holiday periods.
SEAT officially opened CASA SEAT today with a ceremony held under the recommended health and safety measures and attended by prominent authorities and business leaders from the Spanish and Catalan economies. The company took the opportunity during the event to announce the creation of SEAT MÓ, its new urban mobility brand.
