Lamborghini Esperienza Avventura enters China for the first time, marking a new chapter in Lamborghini’s experience program. The "Expedition into the Wild" saw guests travelling nearly 900 km across varying road conditions in the Lamborghini Urus Performante. Experiencing dramatic landscapes along the way, the route took in majestic scenery as the Lamborghini Super SUV conquered the wilderness, heading out from the golden city of Lanzhou.During the four-day trip, a fleet of 12 Lamborghini Urus set off from Lanzhou and drove through the Ganjia Secret Land, which stands wild and magnificent with distinct peaks and valleys, and the wild dirt roads and highland meadows giving distinctive views of the Secret Land from the vast grasslands. On the Sangke Grasslands, the Urus Performante showcased its capabilities away from the road, as the powerful Super SUV drove through the summer grazing routes.Guests experienced an extraordinary blend of natural beauty and traditional culture with a blessing at Labrang Monastery, followed by a visit to Norlha Workshop to appreciate Tibetan textiles and styling. Finally, the fleet reached the Amigonghong rangeland to taste local cuisine, with the adventurers enjoying an exclusive Lamborghini outdoor evening celebration.
Starting from Automobili Lamborghini’s historic headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Lamborghini Christmas Drive 2019 headed towards the destination of Brunico and the Plan de Corones, with the full range of Lamborghini models in convoy: Aventador SVJ, Huracán Evo, and Urus.The experiential journey aboard ten Lamborghinis wound along the challenging and scenic mountain roads of the Alto Adige region up to the top of Plan de Corones, at 2275 meters altitude. Amidst the snow-covered landscapes of the Dolomites, a Huracán EVO dominates the scene.
The Lamborghini Urus Super SUV is celebrating four years since its international launch on 4 December 2017 at the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters. The third super sports car model alongside the Aventador and Huracán, opened up a new segment of luxury cars: the Super SUV, positioning itself as a reference point in terms of power, performance, driving dynamics, design, luxury, and everyday usability. The Urus also kicked off the greatest period of transformation for Automobili Lamborghini, with the Urus taking off during the last four years to become a major player in the SUV segment.Thanks to the Urus, sales, turnover and profitability reached unprecedented levels in the brand’s history. Turnover grew year on year, with 40% growth from €1,009 million to €1,415 million in 2018, the year sales of the car began, reaching a peak of €1.81 billion in 2019 and €1.61 billion in 2020 (COVID period): the year of record profitability for the company.
In late July, Lamborghini announced it had produced the 15,000th example of its Urus Super SUV since it launched in 2019. Now, just a few weeks later Lamborghini London – a part of the H.R. Owen Group – has delivered the very special Urus to its new owner.Wearing chassis number 15,000, this Urus is a Graphite Capsule edition wearing a combination of Grigio Keres Matt grey and Verde Scandal. These vibrant, gloss-finish colors bring sharp contrast to specific exterior details, accentuated by the gloss black rear diffusor and 23-inch Taigete rims.The Urus Graphite Capsule’s two-tone interior is here finished in Nero Ade and Verde Scandal, bringing the owner’s personal style sharply into focus with the perforated and ventilated Alcantara seats, the signature hexagonal Q-citura stitching, the embroidered logo, plus the matte-finish carbon fiber inserts and the black anodized aluminum details.The Urus features a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 650 hp at 6,000 rpm and 850Nm of maximum torque already at 2,250 rpm. Capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds, 0-124mph in 12.8 seconds and with a top speed of 190mph it is one of the fastest SUVs in the world.
The super SUV Urus and Aaron Durogati will face a unique challenge together. The Unlock Any Road concept of the Super SUV Urus meets the versatility of the two-time paragliding world champion Aaron Durogati, who will soon take part in the demanding Red Bull X-Alps.The 36-year-old Aaron Durogati, born in Merano, will start on June 20th in the Red Bull X-Alps, one of the toughest adventure races in the world, in which this time 33 selected participants will compete against each other over several days, all with paragliders and will be on foot (hike and fly). The aim is to pass the 1,238 kilometer long Alpine arc from Austria to Italy as quickly as possible. The race takes place in a daily time window between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. until the last athlete has completed the course.
