With the lack of diversity among the Oscar nominees, Jada Pinkett Smith declares she will not attend the Oscars along with famed Director Spike Lee. 2016 Oscar host Chris Rock has made no public comment about the matter while legendary actress Whoopi Goldberg is outspokenly against the boycott.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee are not pleased with the lack of diversity in the recently revealed Oscar Nominations, and have gone to drastic measures to make that clear.
Tom Holland, Letitia Wright , Adele, Lady Gaga and Winston Duke are among those named as members of the Academy this year.
The Academy has invited a record 928 people in film to join the governing board for the Oscars, including Kendrick Lamar, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish.
