A man was shot and killed by specialist armed officers in London, after he stabbed several people near London Bridge according to Scotland Yard Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu. SOUNDBITE
Tape cordons off a crime scene with officers on patrol at the scene of the incident after two police officers got stabbed in Leicester Square in London. The assailant was tasered and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker, the Metropolitan Police said. Images show clashes at the scene in Dublin after a suspected stabbing outside a school, which left five people in hospital, including three children.
