Madrid, Dec 13 (EFE).- Scores of young activists staged a demonstration demanding a global deal on the climate crisis on the final day of the COP25 summit in Madrid on Friday.Demonstrators, from associations including in the Climate Action Network, tried to capture the attention of politicians, who continued to negotiate a few meters away as part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in the Spanish capital.FOOTAGE OF THE PROTEST AT THE SUMMIT.
Madrid, Dec 11 (EFE).- Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on Wednesday addressed the plenary session of the COP25 UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid.In her speech, the Swedish climate activist urged the leaders of the world's richest countries to increase their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, accusing them of delaying taking real action by offering "misleading" pledges.The Conference runs in the Spanish capital until Dec 13.
