Together with the BMW Vision i NEXT, which will also be on show in Frankfurt, the BMW Vision M NEXT embodies the prototypical characteristics of the BMW driving experience of tomorrow. The all-electric BMW Vision iNEXT stands above all for the EASE world of experience, which shows how autonomous driving will change life on board. The BMW Vision M NEXT, on the other hand, focuses on pure and emotional self-driving in the BOOST world of experience. The vision vehicle presents itself as a progressive plug-in hybrid sports car with an emotionally charged design and a puristically designed interior that focuses on the active driver. Its Power PHEV drive opens up a new dimension of sporty driving - with either electric all-wheel or purist rear-wheel drive, purely electric or with the help of a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine. It generates a system output of 441 kW / 600 hp and allows acceleration from zero to 100 km / h in three seconds. At the push of a button, the BOOST + mode can be activated by mobilizing additional drive power for a particularly intense performance experience. In the purely electric driving mode, a range of up to 100 kilometers is achieved. Thus, a large part of the trips both in the city and beyond can be completed locally emission-free

41st Bangkok International Motor Show to open to public

American-Made Hennessey Venom F5 Supercar Unveiled at GIMS

The $1.6 million Venom F5 hypercar from American carmaker Hennessey made its 'global' debut at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday. The carmaker claims that the F5 Venom is able to reach a top speed of over 300mph, which would make it the world’s fastest production vehicle. The lightweight chassis and carbon fibre bodywork give the F5 a curb weight of just under 3000 pounds, not the lightest supercar around. It remains to be seen whether the Venom F5 can actually deliver on the 300mph promise.
