In the Occitania region of Southern France, amateur videos show flooded streets with submerged cars and uprooted trees, in the city of Nîmes, after an episode of heavy rainfall.
Homes and streets are flooded in Lawrence, a town in Australia's New South Wales on Wednesday. Floodwaters crashed into more towns on Australia's east coast as a deadly storm front barrelled south on Wednesday towards Sydney, where the main dam began to spill water.
