Around a thousand firefighters demonstrate in Strasbourg to protest against the violence they are subjected to on a regular basis. They denounce an increase in acts of incivility, accompanied by physical and verbal abuse. It follows a New Year period marred by attacks on firemen during call-outs. IMAGES
