Several thousand protesters march to the Israeli embassy in Athens in solidarity with the Palestinian people, with many protesters chanting "Free Palestine" whilst calling for immediate ceasefire in the deadly war between Israel and Hamas. Since Hamas militants stormed across the Israeli border on October 7, Israel has relentlessly bombarded the Gaza Strip and sent in ground troops, with the health ministry in the Hamas-run Palestinian territory saying 9,770 people have been killed, nearly half of them -- at least 4,800 -- children.
