With snow drifts, black ice and train cancellations, the onset of dramatic winter weather causes considerable traffic disruptions in many places in the north and center of Germany. Deutsche Bahn discontinued numerous connections in local and long-distance traffic, between Hamburg and Hanover and Hamburg and the State of Northrhine Westphalia, where many parts of the highway have been closed to traffic. Zena Cardman, astronaute actuellement en mission à bord de l’ISS, a partagé cette vidéo sur X le 17 novembre. Elle confie n’avoir jamais vu d’aurores depuis la Terre, alors qu’en orbite, le spectacle est fréquent Sur ce cliché, on distingue Houston, la Floride et les aurores boréales dans un même cadre, juste avant que l’équipage ne survole le golfe et une série d’orages spectaculaires illuminant l’Amérique du Sud au lever du soleil. De spectaculaires aurores boréales ont été observées dans la nuit du mardi 11 au mercredi 12 novembre 2025. Le phénomène lumineux, visible jusqu’en France, a été immortalisé à de nombreuses reprises.
