Mandalay, Mar 11 (EFE/EPA).- Myanmar’s military junta has accused Aung San Suu Kyi of taking illegal bribes in cash and gold in what was the latest charges leveled against the democratically-elected leader since she was overthrown on Feb. 1.Brig. Zaw Min Tun, spokesman for the junta, told a press conference that Suu Kyi had accepted some $600,000 in illegal payments, according to local channel DVB.Suu Kyi has remained in detention for five weeks and faces a number of accusations from the military junta.
