  • Let’s explore - Skoda Enyaq iV Production

The new ŠKODA ENYAQ iV makes a statement with its dynamic looks and sporty, elegant lines. It complements the successfully launched ŠKODA ENYAQ iV, adding an even more emotive variant to the range. The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV also marks the debut of the brand’s first all-electric member of the sporty RS family. While the roofline gently slopes towards the rear from the B-pillar, the new coupé offers plenty of space in the rear and a boot capacity of 570 l. Just like in the ENYAQ iV, the classic trim levels for the interior have been replaced with the Design Selections. There is a choice of two battery sizes, rear- or all-wheel drive, and four power variants with outputs ranging from 132 kW to 220 kW (RS variant). The outstanding drag coefficient (cd) of 0.234 is even better than that of the ENYAQ iV and, depending on the specification, enables a range of more than 540 km in the WLTP cycle.

Škoda has set two official world ice drift records with the Enyaq RS iV SUV, the brand’s second all-electric sporting model. The records for the ’Longest Continuous Vehicle Drift on Ice’ and the ‘Longest Continuous Vehicle Drift on Ice (electric car)’, have been verified by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS. They were set by motoring journalist Richard Meaden on a circular track measuring 188.496 m in circumference on the frozen Stortjärnen lake near Östersund, Sweden, on Thursday 19 January 2023.The first record broken by Škoda on the Stortjärnen lake was for the Longest Continuous Vehicle Drift on Ice. Driving the recently launched Škoda Enyaq RS iV SUV, Richard Meaden set a new officially-verified record by holding the car in a controlled slide for more than 15 minutes and 7.351 km. Meaden’s drift beat the previous record of 6.231 km, set in China in 2022. In breaking the first record, Meaden and the Škoda Enyaq RS iV SUV set a second record for the ‘Longest Continuous Vehicle Drift on Ice (electric car)’.With a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator present and international drifting judge David Kalas as a witness, Škoda set the record on the brand’s fourth day on location following numerous practice runs with different tyre combinations. A total of 18 hours of drifting were put in across the full five days in sub-zero temperatures to achieve the perfect drift.

  • The new Skoda Enyaq RS iV Design in Phoenix Orange

Both body variants of the Enyaq iV BEV family are available in two configurations with all-wheel drive. The Enyaq iV 80x and Enyaq Coupé iV 80x as well as the Enyaq RS iV and Enyaq Coupé RS iV each boast two electric motors. The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) on the rear axle produces 150 kW and the induction motor (IM) on the front axle delivers 80 kW. Controlled electronically, they transmit their power directly to the respective axle, thus enabling all-wheel drive. The system output of the Enyaq iV 80x and the Enyaq Coupé iV 80x is 195 kW, with a maximum torque of 425 Nm. The system output of the two RS models is 220 kW, with up to 460 Nm of torque. This makes the Enyaq iV family RS models Škoda’s most powerful production vehicles currently available. Unlike the rear wheel-drive versions, Enyaq iV models with all-wheel drive give drivers the option of the Traction driving profile; constant four-wheel drive is available at speeds of up to 20 km/h for driving on unpaved roads or slippery surfaces. The Enyaq iV family 80x and RS versions can tow trailers with a maximum weight of 1,400 kilograms on gradients of up to eight per cent. Trailer Manoeuvring Assist is available as an option to help manoeuvre the trailer. In 2022, Škoda Auto produced 15,846 units of the Enyaq iV versions with all-wheel drive.
