He left Arsenal, where he had played for the last ten years, to become Aston Villa's starting goalkeeper. It was one of my objectives to achieve at least 40 points in the championship with Aston Villa. When we achieved that, we realised that the club's record was 15 (matches) and we set that goal. Now we are close to it.""Nowadays there are players who put faith in the team they love to see it growing. Aston Villa is going better. This is clear because of the numbers and it is competing with the top clubs in the Premier (League) you realise that we are here to do great things."
