US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says the "daily toll on civilians in Gaza, particularly on children is far to high" during a press conference in Tel Aviv. Blinken is on a week-long trip aimed at calming tensions across the Middle East, amid continuing battles between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza. SOUNDBITE
"The Gaza Strip is the most dangerous place in the world to be a child," Catherine Russell Executive director of UNICEF tell UN Security Council. "Based on these figures, children account for forty percent of the deaths in Gaza. This is unprecedented," she adds. SOUNDBITE
