The once-again impeached President and first lady Melania Trump plan to take up residence at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. Donald Trump, Jr. and his girlfriend, GOP operative Kimberly Guilfoyle, are house-hunting in Jupiter, Florida--home to Trump Jr.'s ex-wife and children. And Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner have dropped $32 million on a bare lot on a private island near Miami, dubbed 'Billionaire's Bunker.'
President Donald Trump's next residence after he departs the White House is his members-only club Mar-a-Lago. As Trump played golf and dithered over whether to sign the most recent coronavirus relief bill, he also inspected the ongoing renovations to his Florida resort. And according to CNN, POTUS was unhappy with the changes to his private quarters--many of which were overseen by his wife, first lady Melania Trump. Sources say Trump had many 'loud conversations' with others about the changes and ordered some new pieces of furniture to be removed immediately. One source at the club said Trump is spending more time than usual behind closed doors and not mingling as much with club members. The vibe is off.
Sen. Lindsey Graham is one of Pres. Donald Trump's biggest defenders. Trump spent part of his Christmas with Graham in Palm Beach, Florida. People are waiting to see if Trump sign the COVID-19 relief bill. Trump has previously expressed his support to provide Americans $2,000 in COVID relief funds, instead of the proposed $600 package. Graham tweeted his belief that Trump wants to sign a COVID package providing all Americans with $2,000 checks. "I am convinced he (Trump) is more determined than ever to increase stimulus payments to $2000 per person."
Mar-a-Lago is President Donald Trump's private club in Palm Beach, Florida. Business Insider reports that Mar-a-lago is the First Family's "gilded getaway." It's where the Trumps are widely speculated to retreat to following Trump's exit from office. Trump's neighbors aren't thrilled at the prospect of the former President moving in next door. The luxe property was closed for about 57 days amid the coronavirus pandemic. It has previously hosted visitors like the prime minister of Japan.
