There is heavy police presence in the city as parliament continues to debate the controversial finance bill containing the proposed taxes. IMAGES
Tear gas and water cannon are fired as opposition leader Raila Odinga's convoy moves through Kawangware, a congested slum of the capital, Nairobi, sending people scattering, with police also firing canisters at cars carrying journalists.
