US DC-10 Air Tanker arrives in Chile to support firefighting efforts

The US DC-10 Air Tanker -- which has the capacity to launch 36,000 litres of water from the air -- arrives at the Carriel Sur airport in Concepcion, Chile, to support firefighting efforts in the South American country. Forest fires ravaging the south-central zone of Chile have already left 26 dead and have destroyed more than a thousand homes. IMAGES
