Once pristine Nairobi River becomes dumping ground for sewage, industrial waste

Description

As the Nairobi River snakes across the Kenyan capital it is exposed to settlements with no sewage systems, is used as a dumping site for industrial waste and is chock full of dangerous pollutants and heavy metals.. The government has said that it is committed to a clean-up but has given no deadline or budget, and the commission has yet to meet.
