Ukrainians clear away debris left after a Russian missile hit a school in the eastern city of Kramatorsk overnight. IMAGES
Images show the aftermath of a missile that hit near a kindergarten in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine. The missile carved a huge crater in front of the kindergarten, which had some 250 pupils and 70 staff before the war broke out. Debris from the strike, which sparked a small fire in the building and smashed windows, was strewn around the playground and lay near colourful murals on a school building. IMAGES
Russia denies targeting Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, and instead accuses "missiles from foreign and Ukrainian air defence systems located in residential areas of the Ukrainian capital" of causing the damage.
