Officer's bid for closed-door hearing rejected in case of alleged protest violence

Description

An officer who was jailed for violence during the riots in Marseille, in the wake of the death of teenager Nahel at the hands of police, and whose arrest has sparked tensions in the city of Marseille, has asked for his hearing to be held behind closed doors. The investigating chamber has rejected his request. IMAGES
