Taipei, May 24 (EFE/EPA).- Taipei's on-site dining and drinking ban took effect Tuesday in an attempt to curb the resurgence of COVID-19 in Taiwanese capital.Taiwan reported 460 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 4,322 and 23 deaths.     Bangkok, Jul 20 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand has tightened lockdown measures for 13 high-risk provinces, including Bangkok, in order to curb a surge in COVID-19 cases that spiked in recent weeks. Starting on 20 July 2021, with strict health measures, people are not allowed to go outdoors unless necessary, movements in the high-risk provinces will be restricted and shopping malls will stay closed. People are encouraged to work from home and dine-in services at restaurants are banned. Hundreds of construction sites will also close.
