Bangkok bar calls it quit to stop Covid-19 'bleeding'

Description

Bangkok, Jun 10 (EFE/EPA).- Thaisho, a Bangkok bar best known for its shots of traditional herbal moonshine, sold off their furnitures on Thursday before shutting its doors for good. Citing a lack of government compensation after nightlife venues were ordered to close amid Covid-19 outbreak, the bar announced it would sell off everything from chairs and tables to fans and fridge. The bar previously announced that it would be pouring the last rounds on 20 June.
