Residents of Pantelho forced to take justice into their own hands

Pantelho (Mexico), Jul 27 (EFE) .- Around three thousand inhabitants that make up the 86 communities and 18 neighborhoods of the municipality of Pantelho in the state of Chiapas, southeast of Mexico, took control of the municipality following the state government's omission.The inaction of the governor of Chiapas Rutilio Escandon Cadenas, against criminal groups that have plagued the area for 20 years, and are executing people on the sidewalks and in their homes has led to the inhabitants of Pantelho to take control over the municipality.
