Madrid, Oct 11 (EFE).- Around 85 Afghan refugees landed Monday at Spain's Torrejón de Ardoz air base on a plane from Islamabad, as part of the Spanish Government's operation to evacuate people who collaborated with the Spanish authorities in Afghanistan as well as their families.The group of Afghans, including several minors and women, was received by the Spanish Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, and the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá. Jakarta, Oct 4 (EFE/EPA).- Hundreds of Afghan refugees living in Indonesia staged a protest on Monday against a prolonged resettlement process.Afghan refugees have been waiting for resettlement to a third country for years and the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan has stoked fear of further repression against this Shia-minority.
