Thailand considers stricter measures to curb worst Covid-19 wave

Bangkok, Jul 8 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand’s health authorities said Thursday they had proposed increasing government measures to combat the strong Covid-19 wave the country is suffering, the worst since the beginning of the pandemic.Among the proposals is the restriction of movement in areas deemed high risk, including Bangkok, as well as the closure of non-essential establishments for at least 14 days, Kiattiphum Wongrajit, the health ministry’s permanent secretary, told media.
